Aldburgh is really well known for the music festival instigated by Leonard Berstein, the American musician. Like most places there are fewer small fishing boats. I had a Dover Sole one day and bought lovely fresh cod another to BBQ
I envy you the fresh Dover sole! The waterfront looks very bright & festive, is it always like this or is its music festival (or some other festival) happening at the moment?
It always looks like this – when sunny of course!
The Festival is at the end of August sometimes they play Peter Grimes on the beach but usually use the concert hall at Snape in the old maltings
